With everything in life, it can be very easy to get caught up in a routine and continue that routine day-in-day-out. We are mostly unaware of these patterns, since are tied within them so much and they become second nature to us. Does this following sentence sound like you? You wake up, make coffee and breakfast, watch the news, drive to work, take lunch, go back home, make dinner, feed your loved ones, then go to bed. If that does sound like you, that is perfectly okay, but what if you threw in one new element to change your day just a little bit! So instead of going to bed right away in the evening or watching the news in the morning, what if you took a nice long walk outside or even moved to a new state? Breaking your routine can be a positive thing in your life, as it will let you embrace learning, grow opportunities, and be vulnerable to life’s twists and turns.

Here are four (4) key items to help you embrace change:

  1. Recognize the static. The best place to start is write down for one week your daily tasks. After you have completed that for a week, take a look and read it. Recognize if any of your patterns have changed or if it is the same all week. Knowing your patterns both the negative and the positive ones, may help you determine what kind of change you need in your life now.
  2. Ground yourself. There is no need to feel upset that your life has been the same for the past few months or year. Your are doing exactly the right thing by taking some time to start thinking about your future and how you would like to change your days.
  3. Make your “bucket list”. Your life is only so long and there are amazing “little things” you can do right now to reach your goals. Write down 5 or 10 things that you want to accomplish over the next year! Maybe you want to move to a new state or take that dream gateway! When you write it down, you manifest it to happen.
  4. Act! Now that you have that list of things you want to accomplish, just do them! You don’t always need to spend a lot of money to do what you want. Act upon your easily attainable goals first and see where you get from there. Once you start doing, you will realize how much positive change it will bring to your life.

The goals for this blog, is to help you realize that change is good, and to motivate you to keep going and not get stuck doing the same mundane tasks your entire life. The little changes matter the most and if you are ever in need of help to move to a new state or home, UNITS® is here to help!
