General Questions

What is a portable storage container and how does it work?

A portable storage container is a large, weather-resistant container delivered directly to your home or business. You load it at your own pace, and then choose to keep it on-site for convenient access or have us pick it up and store it securely at our facility. If you’re moving, we can also transport it to your new location.

What makes UNITS Moving and Portable Storage different from other portable storage pods companies?

We provide the same flexibility and convenience as larger competitors but with the benefit of local ownership and personalized service. That means faster response times, flexible scheduling, and real people who care about your experience. Plus, our containers are all-steel construction, weather-resistant, and designed to keep your belongings safe.

Do you offer both short-term and long-term storage options?

Yes, we offer flexible rental options. Whether you need a container for a few weeks during a renovation or several months for long-term storage or moving, we’ll work with your timeline.

Can containers be used for both moving and storage?

Absolutely. You can use a container to store items on-site or at our secure facility, and we can also transport it to a new home or business location for moving.

Do I have to be present for delivery or pickup?

While it’s helpful if you can be there, it isn’t required. As long as we have clear delivery instructions and space for placement, we can drop off or pick up your container without you being present.

Container Sizes & Features
