Our UNITS® containers are designed to be robust, featuring all-steel construction, solid steel frames, and steel doors. They are the most weather-resistant containers available – no need for tarps. U-Haul® containers, on the other hand, are made of wood, glue, and staples. This quality can only be found at UNITS® of Lexington.
Our UNITS® containers are roomy and accommodating. In fact, our smallest container (12′) can fit 511 more cubic feet of space than U-Haul® containers due to our unique door design. Furthermore, our 16′ UNITS® Moving and Portable Storage containers can hold up to 400% more weight than similarly sized U-Haul® containers!
We equip our containers with the ETRACK™ securement system. Unlike U-Haul®, we recognize that items may shift during moves due to varying terrain. With our strap and restraint system, known as ETRACK™, your belongings will remain in place!
In contrast to U-Haul®’s U-Box, you’ll only need one of our containers to store multiple rooms, complete with furniture, while multiple U-Box containers would be necessary for the same task. Our 12′ containers can accommodate up to 4 rooms, an entire basement, or large items like patio furniture and dining room tables.
