This unique park is named for the Corp of Engineers’ lock which separates the salt water of the Elizabeth River with the fresh water of the Chesapeake Canal. The 19-acre park is a small peninsula which features a raised berm area with interpretive language explaining the lock system to visitors who want to get a great view of the many yachts which transit the lock. There’s also a boat ramp, picnic shelter, playground and fishing and crabbing areas.
DEFY is an expansive trampoline park with over 50 trampolines, launching decks, hoops, dodgeball and foam pits.
