At UNITS® Moving and Portable Storage of Jacksonville, we are deeply committed to serving our community, especially in times of need. When disaster strikes, we believe in stepping up to support those affected. That’s why we’re proud to partner with the Knights of Columbus to aid in hurricane relief efforts for North Carolina. Through this collaboration, we’re working to ensure that essential supplies reach those who need them most. From providing a free container to assisting with logistics and unloading, we’re honored to play a role in this critical mission.

Delivering Relief Where It’s Needed Most

When the call for hurricane relief came, UNITS® Jacksonville didn’t hesitate to get involved. We provided the Knights of Columbus with a portable storage container, ensuring they had a secure and reliable way to collect and transport donations.

But our commitment didn’t stop there. We also delivered the container to Asheville, where we helped unload and move the supplies into a staging area. This staging area, a generously donated warehouse space, is being used as a hub by local fire departments and surrounding communities. Here, relief supplies are safely stored until they can be distributed by firefighters and volunteers to affected areas.

The Knights of Columbus and local fire departments have been at the forefront of these relief efforts, coordinating the collection and distribution of essential supplies such as food, water, clothing, and hygiene items. The warehouse staging area plays a vital role, allowing these supplies to be organized and ready for quick deployment.
