Pets and Plants 

You’ll want to get your pets and plants into their new homes as soon as possible. You’ll need to make sure your dogs have somewhere safe to stay while you’re transporting them and that your plants are taken care of by a friend or family member.

Notify Utilities

Finally, notify your power providers about the transition. This includes your cable and internet service providers and your phone provider. Notifying them ahead of time might help to avoid service outages.
