1. When moving a fish tank, be sure it is completely dry before loading it onto the truck. Also, clean out any water or foreign particles from the aquarium.
2. Remove all of the water from the tank, including any furnishings. After the tank is empty, make sure it’s totally dry. This will assist prevent germs from establishing themselves in the tank.
3. Remove all of the tank’s components before moving it. You should unplug any equipment from the tank, including filters and heaters.
4. To avoid bumps and scratches, cover the tank with a traveling blanket.
5. Always keep your aquarium in good condition. To avoid dropping the tank when moving it, use a traveling blanket instead of towels or rugs.
6. When you’ve finished moving the tank to your new location, reconnect all of the equipment and put it together. Before filling it with water, check for any cracks in the glass.
