UNITS® containers are built tough. Our containers feature all steel construction, tough steel frames, and steel doors and are the most weatherproof containers on the market. No tarp necessary. U-Haul® containers are made of wood, adhesive, and staples.
UNITS® containers are large and spacious – in fact because of our unique door design our smallest container (12′) can actually fit 511 more cubic feet of space than U-Haul® containers can. On top of that, our 16′ UNITS® Moving and Portable Storage Containers are able to hold up to 400% more by weight than the same sized U-Haul® containers!
Our containers feature the ETRACK™ securing system. Unlike Pack-Rat®, we acknowledge the fact that items can sometimes shift during moves due to differences in terrain. Using our strap and restraint system aka ETRACK™, your items will stay put!
Compared to U-Haul’s U-Box, you would only need one container that can store multiple rooms, furniture and all, whereas you would need multiple U-Box containers to do the same job.
