The amount of time it will take to pack up your home depends on how much stuff you have and the size of your home. A one-bedroom apartment takes one to two days to pack. Your average two-bedroom home can take anywhere from two to three days. And larger homes with three to four bedrooms will take between four and six days.
To help the packing process run smoothly, organization is of the utmost priority. That means you should have a packing checklist and ensure that you have all of your packing supplies on hand before you start. So gather all of your materials ahead of time, that includes tape, boxes, scissors, and wrapping materials.
You can keep yourself on task and keep track of your progress by focusing on packing one room at a time. Start with your largest room and work your way down to the smallest. Getting the largest room out of the way first will ensure that you have enough time left to pack up the rest of your home.
