All of our UNITS® containers feature steel construction, frames, and doors. They’re also the most weather-resistant containers money can buy — no tarp necessary. Containers from U-Haul®, on the other hand, are made mostly of wood held together with adhesive and staples. You won’t find this level of quality anywhere else except at UNITS® of Houston Gulf Coast.
Our UNITS® containers are huge and roomy, with the smallest one (12′) able to hold 511 more cubic feet than a U-Haul ® container can. In addition, our 16′ UNITS® Moving and Portable Storage Containers are capable of holding 400% more weight than the same sized U-Haul® containers!
At our company, we utilize the ETRACK™ securing system for all of our containers. This is to ensure that none of your belongings move or shift during transport — unlike U-Haul®. With our straps and restraints, you can be guaranteed that your items will stay right where you put them!
U-Haul’s® U-Box system would require multiple containers to store the contents of what one of our UNITS® containers can hold. For example, our 12’ container can store everything from 4 rooms worth of furniture and belongings to an entire basement or large patio furniture. If you’re moving a family or need supplies on hand at a worksite, then our 16′ container is perfect for you! With UNITS®, we provide a much more efficient storage solution than any of our competitors.
