Local Storage Company Celebrates Major Milestone With Ribbon-Cutting Ceremony

UNITS of Boise Dedicates Grand Opening to Assist Children in Foster Care 

UNITS Moving and Portable Storage of Boise is proud to announce its grand opening celebration in partnership with Foster + Heart. 

The event kicks off with a celebration by the Boise Metro Chamber and the Eagle Chamber of Commerce and a ceremonial ribbon cutting at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 24, at 1410 W Karcher Rd., Nampa, ID 83651. 

Complimentary refreshments for all that attend will follow with tours of UNITS® Moving and Portable Storage’s facility and a demonstration of their Robo-Unit, a proprietary delivery system that can place containers in the tightest of spaces. There will be a ticket drawing for one free month of portable storage along with other prizes.  

In addition, UNITS of Boise will collect donations for Foster + Heart, including socks, school supplies and other products. A full list of essential needs can be found here.

• When: Wednesday, April 24, from 4 to 6 p.m.

• Ribbon-cutting ceremony hosted by the Boise Metro Chamber and Eagle Chamber at 4:00 p.m.

• Donations will be collected for Foster + Heart. Foster + Heart is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization located in Idaho’s Treasure Valley, dedicated to igniting the hearts of our community to foster and meet the needs of children in foster care.   

The franchise is owned and operated by Jim and Raegan Brown. Originally from Texas, Jim and Raegan are excited to tackle this venture and revolutionize the moving and storage experience for all residents and businesses across Idaho’s Treasure Valley.

The Brown family has called Idaho home since 2017, embracing the Idaho lifestyle wholeheartedly. Jim brings an extensive background in the semiconductor industry spanning three decades. When the opportunity arose to own a UNITS franchise, Jim and Raegan seized it. Drawn by the chance to assist families during the often stressful relocation process and impressed by the superior quality of UNITS’ products and franchise support team, they knew this was the perfect fit for them.
