Meet the Owner

Mike Simek

UNITS Moving and Portable Storage of Indianapolis is owned and operated by Plainfield residents Mike Simek, with the help of his wife Jamie Simek. Mike is a retired Marine Corps veteran who has lived and worked in the Indianapolis area for more than 15 years. Jamie’s background is in nonprofit work in and around central Indiana. The Simeks have two active kids–a daughter in college and a son in high school–and a dog who is (mostly) a very good boy.

Meet the General Manager

Brian Petersson

UNITS of Indianapolis general manager is Brian Petersson. Brian and his wife, Jacki, are also longtime Plainfield residents, active community members, and parents to three “20-something” kids (one son and two daughters) and a small dog with a big personality. Brian has more than 20 years of experience in hospitality and tourism, which underpins his commitment to excellent customer service.
