Packing paper

Packing paper is a great substitute for bubble wrap. It’s soft enough to create a cushion layer to protect fragile items and can conform to any shape easily. Packing paper will also keep dust and moisture away from the items you’re trying to protect. This type of paper is much more affordable than bubble wrap, but you might have to use multiple sheets to protect your fragile belongings.

Blankets

Furniture blankets provide an outstanding degree of protection for fragile items but they tend to be more expensive than bubble wrap. You can try using your regular household blankets lying around to wrap and cushion any breakable items. Towels also make a great alternative to bubble wrap and will help protect your belongings like blankets.

Bed sheets and clothing
