UNITS Portable Storage of North Carolina in the Community

UNITS® Portable Storage of North Carolina is always seeking ways in which to get involved and assist in the local community. Whether it’s lending a hand to Habitat for Humanity or donating their portable storage units to support a great cause, they are always there to help.

UNITS® is participating in the fundraiser “Raising Roofs” with Habitat for Humanity of Greater Greensboro. This is an amazing event brought together by hundreds of industry professionals, builders, suppliers, and trade contractors to work side by side to build houses from the foundation up, in just 5-days. UNITS® Portable Storage of North Carolina is donating ten of their portable storage container for the builders and volunteers to store their materials and supplies.

Scott Fleming, the Chairman of the Board of Directors at Habitat for Humanity of Greater Greensboro stated that:

From October 30th thru November 3rd, Habitat for Humanity of Greater Greensboro will have their 8th Raising Roofs event. They will build five houses in one week and celebrate: One Week – Five Houses. As Habitat for Humanity of Greater Greensboro celebrates their 30th anniversary, these five houses make a total of sixty homes they have built since 2003.

We are grateful for the builders, who are giving their time and hard work to make these homes possible for five hard-working families in our community.
