- Colonial Revival Style. These homes became popular in the 40’s and 50’s. These styles feature a Columned porch, front door sidelights, a symmetrical facade and other unique features.
- Collegiate Gothic Style. Popular in the late-19th and early-20th centuries for prominent university buildings such as Boston College, Yale, Duke, and Princeton.
- Beaux Arts Style. This architectural style was taught at the École des Beaux-Arts in Paris, particularly from the 1830s. The Beaux Arts style was seen as an expression of wealth.
- Spanish Colonial Revival Style. This architectural movement arose in the early 20th century incorporating traditional latin elements such as clay tile roofs, round arch openings, and carved wooden doors.
- Tudor Revival Style. In the 1920s and 1930s, the Tudor style was second only to the Colonial Revival style in residential popularity.
