Our UNITS® containers are built to last, featuring all-steel construction, robust steel frames, and secure steel doors. They are the most weather-resistant containers available – no need for a tarp. In contrast, U-Haul® containers are made of wood, adhesive and staples. This high level of quality can only be found at UNITS® of Grand Rapids.
Our UNITS® containers are roomy, and our unique door design allows our smallest container (12′) to fit 511 more cubic feet of space than U-Haul® containers. Additionally, our 16′ UNITS® Moving and Portable Storage containers can hold up to 400% more weight than similarly sized U-Haul® containers!
We equip our containers with the ETRACK™ securing system. Unlike U-Haul®, we recognize that items may shift during transit due to varying terrain. Our strap and restraint system, known as ETRACK™, ensures your belongings stay in place.
In comparison to U-Haul®’s U-Box, you’ll only need one of our containers to store multiple rooms’ worth of furniture and belongings, whereas you would require several U-Box containers for the same purpose. Our 12′ containers can accommodate the contents of up to 4 rooms, an entire basement, or large items like patio furniture and dining room tables.
