Upside: You can rent out or AirBnB spare rooms!

Downside: Painting the house is a chore.

Upside: You can paint your rooms any color you choose and as many times as you want (or have patience for).

Downside: No landlord to call when appliances break.

Upside: You can buy a new dishwasher to replace the old one that didn’t work!

Downside: Taxes are more expensive.

Upside: Your first tax refund will likely be bigger because you bought a house!
